Lateral inguinal hernia

Also called [no-glossary] indirect inguinal hernia [/no-glossary]. A [no-glossary] lateral inguinal hernia [/no-glossary] can be either of congenital or acquired origin. It runs through the inguinal canal, with the internal inguinal ring as hernial orifice.
